If bane supposedly broke batman's spine how did batman heal his spine?

Apparently the original story of batman and bane. Bane recognizes Bruce Wayne as Batman by the shape of his body's physique. So he breaks into Wayne Manor attacks Batman and snaps him on his knee breaking his back including his spinal cord. But this part I haven't figured out yet. Somehow Batman fully heals and recovers as good as new. how did he make a full recovery and prevent paralysis ?
